So here it is - our brand-new, fresh out of the box tagline

"Websites that make a difference"

We are just a little bit in love with it because it stands for everything we believe about small business, and the power of websites to make a difference in the lives of business owners and just as importantly - in the work they are doing.

Here is how we see websites making a difference

Small businesses make a big difference

We believe that small businesses make a huge contribution to our community and economy. 88% of people in Australia are employed by a small business that employs four people or less! That is pretty amazing.

Providing solutions to problems and causes

All businesses exist to solve problems or enhance the lives of others - which in turn makes a difference. When we look at our clients, we can definitely see this is the case.

As a business toolkit

Websites when done right can provide many business functions for business owners - from being a marketing and sales tool, right through to streamlining operations, workflows, customer service and many, many of other ways.

Independence and self determination

Small business owners have made a choice to live life on their own terms - and this definitely makes a difference to their lives.

Our new tagline also demonstrates our commitment to supporting small businesses which are making a difference.

The privilege of being able to help a community in need

We have been in the fortunate position to support a social enterprise project of South Australian, Joy Marshall and her small business Sew So Good Facemasks.

Joy has turned the necessity of wearing a face mask into an opportunity for a small collective of Cambodian women living with HIV, to sew and sell masks to support themselves and their families.

It is literally a win:win:win.

A small business empowers a community to generate income, and as they each make a difference to the world, we can get behind them and offer our support to a project we believe in.

So as we revel in the new-look and feel of our branding refresh, I look forward to more reflections about how and why we do business, and many more opportunities to support small businesses with websites that make a difference.
